Game appoints Dimitri Goulandris as senior independent director

Video games retailer Game has drafted Dimitri Goulandris to join the company’s board as a senior independent director.

He will replace non-executive director Caspar Woolley as chair of the Game’s remuneration committee and will also become a member of the company’s nomination committee and audit and risk committee.

Goulandris is the founder of The Cycladic Group, which has invested in over 40 businesses since 2002 – as well as founding five – in the US, Europe, India, Africa and Latin America.

Before that, he worked for Morgan Stanley for eight years in its private equity group.

“We are delighted to welcome Dimitri to the board,” Game chairman John Jackson said.

“His strategic and financial experience will add to the balance of skills and experience of our directors.”
