Retail Gazette Loves: Meadowhall’s inflatable interactive park

Meadowhall shopping centre is set to host the UK’s first ever inflatable interactive park spanning 15,000sq ft.

The giant inflatable park, which was designed in Holland by Air Haus, will feature the latest interactive technology and challenge shoppers to race across its course.

It will include eight-metre-high peaks, sensory lights and an on-site restaurant, as well as dedicated toddler sessions for younger shoppers.

“Air Haus offers a new and exciting concept for families and friends to enjoy, bringing the very best of technology and traditional games together,” Air Haus director Jack Pendlebury said.

“Meadowhall’s recent £60 million refurbishment has made it the perfect location to launch our UK debut site and we are proud to be joining such a great venue.”

Meadowhall’s owner British Land’s asset manager Richard Crowther added: “Meadowhall has transformed over the last couple of years to offer customers an even wider range of experiences and reasons to visit.

“Air Haus’ selection of Meadowhall for the UK’s first interactive inflatable park highlights Meadowhall’s position as a leading retail and leisure destination in the country.”
