Second hand-luxury store Designer Exchange opens 5th UK store

The Designer Exchange is due to open its fifth UK store in the heart of Chelsea as demand for “pre-loved” luxury goods continues to grow.

This month the Designer Exchange, which buys and sells second hand luxury fashion items, will open a new store 1352sq ft store on Kings Street, marking its largest space to date.

It will stock a “vast range” of luxury fashion accessories from leading brands like Chanel, Gucci and Burberry.

According to its website, the new store will also expand into buying and selling clothes and shoes for the first time.

Though an official opening date is yet to be set, the brand has been buying items for the store since September 18, and encourages those with goods to sell to visit one of its London stores to get their goods authenticated and priced by a member of staff.

“We are proud to offer the opportunity for customers to extend the lifespan of treasured designer items, many of our brands are coveted, and by recycling them at affordable prices we can ensure everybody can have the opportunity to own a desirable designer product,” managing director of Designer Exchange Dominic Durante said.

“Opening this new flagship on the iconic Kings Road, Chelsea, is a momentous occasion on our brands journey and we are confident shoppers will appreciate our desirable collections and specialist service.

“The Chelsea catchment is a prime target location for us, and we feel that our flagship store couldn’t fit anywhere better than the highly sought-after King’s Road.”
