Dixons Carphone is reportedly set to cut 141 jobs from its offices as part of its turnaround scheme.
According to Retail Week, the job cuts will be targeted at the electrical retail giant’s offices in Acton, Poole, Loughborough, Warrington and in Ireland.
Dixons Carophone’s head office in Acton will bear the brunt of most of the job cuts, according to a staff memo seen by Retail Week.

A consultation with 190 staff has been launched, and Dixons Carphone reportedly plans to create 47 new roles once the process ends.
Chief executive Alex Baldock has been carrying out a turnaround scheme that involves shutting more than 100 under-performing Carphone Warehouse stores in the UK.
More than 200 head office jobs were also culled last September.
However, the latest round of job cuts will not affect shop floor staff.
The news comes a month after Dixons Carphone’s full-year report was published, in which it revealed a 22 per cent plunge in pre-tax profit to £298 million.
This prompted Baldock to announce that Dixons Carphone’s five-year transformation plan would be accelerated.
Other aspects of his turnaround scheme include merging the Currys PC and Carphone Warehouse teams and investing £200 million in staff training to improve customer service.
