Wilko welcomes Musgrave CEO Chris Martin to board

Wilko has appointed the chief executive of Irish food wholesaler Musgrave, Chris Martin as non-executive director.

Martin served as the chief executive for struggling retailer Mothercare from 1999 until 2002, before leaving to join Musgrave as group finance director in 2003. He was promoted to chief executive in 2005.

Wilko said the new appointment will help bolster its business.
