Retail Gazette Loves: The Jacamo Arm-in-Arms pub

Jacamo recently opened the doors to its first ever pub the Jacamo Arm-in-Arms for one day only.

Rather than draw in the crowds with craft ale and live music, the menswear retailer’s aim was to get men “down the pub” to have an open debate about the issues current facing modern men.

Sportsman and personalities showed their support at the event

The concept stemmed from research done by Jacamo which revealed that 58 per cent of men are most likely to meet their friends down at the pub yet a quarter of men don’t feel comfortable talking to anyone about their feelings.

Thee pub created a safe space for men to meet and openly talk about what it means to be a man in 2020.

Free panel discussions were led by cricketer Freddie Flintoff and Jacamo ambassador and boxer Luke Campbell.

Other celebrities that took part include JJ Bola, Ben Bidwell, Dr Chris Morris- Roberts, and Luke Campbell MBE, who opened up about their experiences with mental health.

Throughout the day, men visited the Jacamo Arm-in-Arms and grabbed a drink on the house, listened to live music, got a free trim from the resident barber and spoke to a celebrity stylist for autumn/winter style advice.
