Covent Garden welcomes 8 new stores

Covent Garden has welcomed eight new stores in recent weeks, two of which are new flagships.

The two new flagship concept stores on Floral Street are for fashion brands American Vintage and a brand-new Jigsaw concept.

US fashion retailer American Vintage, which launched in 2005, will open its latest store this summer while British fashion brand Jigsaw will upsize its current Floral Street store by expanding into Grade II listed Carriage Hall, opening in February.

The two retailers will join the Parisian label APC, which opened on Floral Street in December, as well as Change Group, the first tax refund lounge in London’s West End.

These openings will add to Capital & Countries estate’s recent 2019 launches on Floral Street, including Glossier which is the retailer’s longest pop up to date, Free People and Alex Monroe, and joins established luxury brands including Paul Smith and Agnes B.

British independent brands Strathberry and Lulu Guinness will open stores in the Market Building and King Street, joining the existing British brands on the estate including Burberry and Jo Malone London.
