Lush is reportedly seeking to occupy vacant Debenhams and House of Fraser units following the success of its new Liverpool store.
The cosmetic retailer’s chief executive and co-founder Mark Constantine has said the company is interested in expanding into more larger-format stores, Retail Week reported.
Lush’s three-storey Liverpool flagship, which Constantine described as a department store, opened last March and includes a spa, hair lab and perfume library.

The new store replaced Lush’s previous and smaller Liverpool store and is also five times bigger.
The news follows Debenhams’ initiative to shut down 19 under-performing stores across the UK this month alone and a further 28 next year, while House of Fraser owner Mike Ashley is looking to secure better rent deals with landlords.
Constantine has revealed interest in Lush securing the leases of former Debenhams and House of Fraser stores to support its expansion programme.
Lush currently trades from 105 UK and Ireland branches.
