Marks & Spencer on Friday launched its new athleisure range Goodmove, with 150 pieces focused on affordable sportwear.

The range will be available from today in store, with leggings “experts” on hand to help customers choose from five styles, ranging from £15 for a basic pair and up to £45 for sculpting tights, as reported by The Guardian.

As many UK consumers begin new year’s resolutions this week, Goodmove also has its own dedicated Spotify playlist for customers to listen to whilst working out.

Described by M&S as “made for the modern mover”, the range runs from sports bras to what it describes as “24/7 trainers” and jackets for the high street.

Activewear has become a staple in today’s wardrobe – not simply because we work out more but because the nation is embracing a more causal and flexible way of dressing,” M&S womenswear director Jill Stanton told the Guardian.
