Ted Baker is preparing for a gradual reopening of its stores from mid-June as it recalls furloughed staff based on the needs of its operations.
The fashion retailer shut its doors to the public in late March when the lockdown was implemented, and it furloughed 75 per cent of staff.
The UK Government said earlier this week that outdoor markets and car showrooms in England can reopen from June 1 followed by all other non-essential retail from June 15.

Stores will look and operate differently from how they did before the lockdown, Ted Baker said.
The retailer said it would comply with new health and safety and social distancing rules.
It has become one of the latest retailers to announce its reopening, after Harrods, Debenhams, Joules and Boots said they were preparing to reopen non-essential services to the public.
Earlier this month, Ted Baker poached Arcadia’s global design director for Topshop, Anthony Cuthbertson, as its new global creative director.
