John Lewis may be considering moving a Waitrose supermarket into its iconic Peter Jones store.
The Sloane Square shop could house a Waitrose-branded Foodhall in its lower ground floor, according to a report by The Mail on Sunday.

The lower ground floor is currently occupied by household goods, but with more household products sold online, John Lewis is said to be thinking up ways its properties can boost sales.
The 143-year-old store is under strategic review as part of an overhaul of John Lewis’ business, headed up by the retailer’s new chair Sharon White.
John Lewis said its plans are under consideration but no decision has been made on whether to go ahead with a new Waitrose branch.
The news comes days after the business said it would add 30 new brands to its website in the run up to autumn/winter 2021.
John Lewis said the chosen brands, which consist of athleisure, casual wardrobe choices and pyjamas, “respond directly to the new needs of the nation”.
