Knomo has hired Oliver Strickland to take on the role of UK country manager at the bags and accessories retailer and brand.

Strickland’s remit at Knomo will involve rolling out an overseas and store expansion strategy, as well as brand positioning and wholesale accounts.

He will also work alongside managing director Dan Shaw.

The news comes a week after Knomo parent company Inc Retail Group hired the former head of interior design for Intu, Ben Perman, as its new creative director.

Perman will lead the design and creative direction across the group, with its growing collection of brands.

Inc Retail, which only acquired Knomo in January, said it would announce new schemes and acquisitions in the coming months.
