Retail Gazette Loves: Misspap’s ‘Boost Your Business’ scheme

In line with International Women’s Day this year, Misspap has launched a “Boost Your Business” scheme which offers £25,000 worth of free marketing to all female-led, small businesses.

The competition incentive comes as part of the online retailer’s long term strategy to use its platform to support and nurture talent, particularly those who have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The competition, which launched on Misspap’s social media channels, requires participants to draft or expand on an existing business plan and include how this opportunity would boost their business.

The prize package offers £25,000 worth of free marketing and brand exposure on Misspap’s social media and online channels, the chance to shadow key marketing departments, use of the in-house photography studio facilities, and also be exclusively stocked on Misspap’s website.

Misspap’s aim is to inspire and empower female entrepreneurs and give them the
confidence to drive their ideas forward.

The winner will be selected by a panel of Misspap judges and will be announced in April.

The Boost Your Business incentive has been a large part of MissPap chief executive Samantha Helligso’s strategy in supporting young women in business.

“Covid 19 has sadly meant that a number of small businesses have closed and jobs have been lost,” she said.

“However more than ever we’re seeing a movement of inspiring women who have turned their circumstances into something positive by finding their passions and starting their own business ventures.

“Our mission is to draw a spotlight on these inspiring women by giving them support and a platform to share their brand to help ‘boost their business’ whilst inspiring others.”
