Fashion retailer Hugo Boss has announced the appointment of Judith Sun as its new managing director for Greater China.

Having joined the company in October, Sun is responsible for managing the entirety of Hugo Boss’ business in China and for overseeing the implementation of the brand’s strategic vision on this essential market.

She will also be tasked with driving the development of the company’s retail, wholesale and digital businesses in China.

Judith Sun brings broad experience in fashion and luxury-related industries and has successfully raised global brands’ profiles in China.

Most recently she served as managing director of Swarovski China, a role that she held from November 2017 to September of this year.

Previously, Sun also worked for brands including Lee Cooper, Levi’s and Adidas.

According to preliminary figures, Hugo Boss achieved £635 million in revenues in the third quarter.
