Aldi and Dobbies partner with Teenage Cancer Trust for festive fundraising

// The winning designs from Aldi’s Christmas card competition go on sale this week
// Dobbies held a Christmas shopping event to raise funds for its national charity partner

Aldi and Dobbies have partnered with nationwide charity Teenage Cancer Trust for a range of festive fundraising initiatives this year.

Young people supported by the charity were invited to submit designs for Aldi’s Christmas card range, with the winner going on sale in stores across the country.

The supermarket revealed the winner to be Chrissy Cruickshank, whose designs were launched instore this week. 50p from the sale of each pack will be donated directly to Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Christmas card competition was launched as part of Aldi’s ongoing partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust, which first began in 2017.

So far Aldi has raised more than £6 million through various initiatives in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, with a target to raise a further £4 million by 2027.

“We hope everyone enjoyed taking part in our Christmas card design competition as much as we enjoyed looking at the submissions,” said Aldi’s managing director of corporate responsibility, Mary Dunn.

“The work Teenage Cancer Trust does for young people is incredibly important and we are glad to be able to support them with our ongoing partnership.”
