Job Description

A leading principal consumer electronics business is in search of an Application Engineer who would work for their chillers division.

We are looking for strong UAE-based candidates who can perform the following duties:

- Product Applications Engineering: field applications support, design requirements, and strategic direction/application
- Identify strategic product needs, evaluate feasibility of product concepts, develop requirements, and develop presentation of concepts, applications, and requirements to enter into product planning roadmap
- Define product/feature requirements and effectively communicate with the factory through product/feature development process
- Transfer knowledge of new and existing products to Service team
- Analyze, build, and maintain competitive product application strategies for existing and new competitive products in the market
- Provide support to other teams in creation and review of catalogs, brochures, submittals, guide specifications, en100956gineering manuals, etc.
- Work with sales team to identify opportunities to develop strategies that promote sales

The ideal candidate must have:

- Bachelor of Science in ME, EE or equivalent required

- 5+ yrs experience in applied commercial air conditioning industry including experience in technical product applications support required

- In depth understanding of B2B business

- Experience of AHU / Chiller selection preferred
