Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ladieswear Buyer to join the head office of one of the UKs most successful retailers. This is an opportunity to be part of a successful market leading retailer.

This role will be covering maternity leave on a full-time basis.

As the Buyer, your responsibilities will include:

-Assisting with the development of the buying strategy, ensuring that the swimwear and holiday shop ranges are both commercial and creative.

-Working closely with the Design, Development and Merchandising teams in order to correctly identify the customers needs and deliver a successful product range accordingly.

-Preparing, participating and presenting in range reviews and sign off meetings.

-Delivering on profit and margin across key categories.

To be successful, you will:

-Be currently be working as an established Buyer within Ladieswear, preferably with swimwear experience but not essential

-Possess a good understanding of the principles of Buying, Merchandising and other relevant Head Office departments as it is vital that you communicate effectively with all colleagues and meet set deadlines.

-Be a self starter who thrives on a challenge.

-Have leadership qualities and be able to offer guidance to others within the team.
