We are looking for a passionate Executive chef/Executive Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine currently working with a well-known 5* Establishment, to join this very cool, boutique style brand as the Executive chef.
We would require a minimum of around 5 - 6 years of experience in the GCC region.
Relevant experience Required:
- Have a history working in boutique style high end restaurants/Hotels.
- Work with seasonal ingredients to create fresh exciting menus.
- Understanding how to cost and budget dishes.
- Work with procurement regarding ingredients.
- You must have a good understanding of the GCC Market and trends.
- You should have excellent working knowledge of UAE Health and Safety law.
- Train staff under SOP's and create spec books.
- Understand how to maintain quality and consistency of the food offering.
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team including the culinary directors.
- Passionate about the industry as well as having in depth knowledge of the market.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, flexibility and ability to multi-task within a fast-moving environment.
- International experience is a must.
- Understand menu creation and development including costing and procurement.
