Our client is an international family of HNW who are seeking an experienced Household Manager to be based in their large Central London home. They seek a very experienced Household Manager with extensive experience of running a large and reputable home. This will ideally suit someone with over 15 years experience, some of your experience might have been gained outside of households - potentially within Hotels or Embassies or Palaces. Responsibilities:· Managing the maintaining all supplies of the home whilst keeping detailed household budgets· Keeping the house looking immaculate at all times· Overseeing other staff including housekeepers, chef, and nanny· Ensuring that the home is always running smoothly and immaculately presented· Manage the housekeeping to an extremely high standard whilst working alongside the house team to ensure first hand that all home operations are working and maintained. · Working alongside the Head Butler you will ensure a warm and welcoming environment is maintained for the family and the many guests they entertain.· Flexibility is important in terms of hours of work. Experience required:-· Experience in a significant private household ideally with royalty or HNW people.· Thorough understanding of wardrobe management, couture clothing, handling art and antiques, managing supplies (and suppliers) plus and general household management skills. · IT skills are very important for communicating - especially e-mail and Excel. · Proven background of managing, supervising and training household staff.· A background of working closely for the lady of the householdBenefits: · 5 days per week (with flexibility being required for certain days)· Statutory holiday plus Bank Holidays (days in lieu given for Bank Holidays worked) If you think that your experience and background are a good match for this exciting and high profile position then please send us your CV.
