Job Description

What are the key deliverables of this role? 1.Managing the relationships with the key accounts effectively. This includes: * Informing the account of all new product launches in a timely manner. * Ensuring that POS for all new product launches is utilized in the most effective manner. * Handling the implementation of marketing promotions as per the schedule and brand plan while maximizing the AP budget. * Managing any issues relating to products, price etc in a manner which enhances client relationship while balancing organizational commercial needs. 2.Achieve targeted profits, sales turnover, market share and customer service levels as outlined and agreed to in the business plans. 3.Work actively towards building professional relationships with potential and existing customers which will increase sales revenue. 4.Agree on Service contracts with the Customers and ensure that delivery against the contract is as per service standards agreed. 5.Identify the different segments in the market and develop and implement appropriate sales strategies for each individual account working in close coordination with Category Specialists. Technology and information utilisation will be a key input into this. 6.In co-ordination with the Marketing team, give inputs and recommendations for brand marketing plans and implement the trade marketing plans for his/her area of operation with the objective of brand building. 7.Ensure that information regarding forecasts are given to the Managers in a way which contributes towards accuracy of overall forecasting. 8.Effective Debtor management is a key deliverable for this function. Debtors must be managed as per the companys guidelines and financial policies. 9.Ensure that Special Orders if any are depleted as per the agreed terms and conditions 10.Analyse together with the Sales Manager, the sales trends in his accounts across various categories and develop appropriate Sales Strategies to maximize sales. 11.Constantly update himself on the latest trends and best practices within the business, so as to contribute to the excellence of the organization. 12.Completely understand, respect and function within the team he/ she operates, so that complete alignment with the organizational goals is achieved. Education and Career * He / she should be a graduate. * Sales experience preferably in an FMCG / liquor company. * Excellent public speaking skills * Ability to reach out to a range of audiences through presentations and written communication. * Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
