An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Footwear & Accessories Ladieswear Design Manager to join the team of a well known business to cover a maternity leave contract. This is a great move for those looking to take on a new challenge, as the position offers a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to work across the entire Ladieswear non clothing department. Key elements to the role: * As you will manage a large design team therefore it is essential that you have previous experience leading a team. Together you will work to ensure that you deliver a high quality range that meets and exceeds the needs of the ladieswear customer base * As well as being creative and inspirational it is important that you have a good understanding of the market and are able to source products effectively, considering their monetary value and ultimately their profitability. * As you will oversee the entire Non Clothing department it is essential that you can work under pressure, within a fast paced and volume driven environment with the ability to multi task and manage multiple critical paths along side one another. The successful candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic and creative experienced Senior Designer or an existing Design Manager/Head of who is passionate about delivering a trend led, quality driven footwear and accessories range. You will be keen to take on a new challenge, representing a well known leading brand. You must have extensive design experience at a senior level in ladies footwear and also fashion accessories from another leading ladieswear retailer or brand.
