Job Description

A newly created role has recently arisen with a leading high-street retailer, based in London. They are looking for a Commercial Manager to create, develop and strategise the proposition for their mobile phone customers. In this role you will need to be acutely aware of mobile phone customer’s wants and needs, and tailor the content offer accordingly. You will be working in partnership with key brands and online applications and websites in order to create a compelling range of complimentary m-commerce offers. You will be expected to deliver on the following: * Design and develop a range of mobile offers in conjunction with third party companies. * Build on existing relationships and strike up new third party connections in order to craft an attractive offer for the mobile phone user. * Create a complimentary range of m-commerce ‘products’ in line with ever changing customer expectations. * Develop a deeper understanding of the wider m-commerce marketplace with regular reports, feeding these up-stream through presentations and briefings. * Undergo. * Monitor all sales and revenues and report accordingly. * Strong negotiation and collaboration with content partners in order to create a compelling range of mobile ‘products’. * Own the budget and forecasts on sales, revenues and supplier rebates. In order to be successful you will need to be: * Experienced in mobile product, have a technical background in mobile companies or have exposure to mobile content within web companies. * Partnership management experience. * Highly mathematical and analytically minded. * A team player and key influencer. * Educated to degree level. This is not a role for the fainthearted. As a newly created position, all eyes will be on you. You must be able to create and drive the strategy of a cutting edge channel and be resilient, as knock-backs are inevitable.
