Job Description

Our client is a global market leader with expertise in the development and manufacturing of innovative consumer goods to varying sectors and due to continued success is looking to add to their demand planning team. These demand planning roles are crucial to supporting the business needs and ongoing improvements being made to the supply chain. The role offers the successful candidate a great perspective of the supply chain, involvement with the commercial functions and great opportunities to develop your career. Responsibilities * Responsible and accountable for the creation of the baseline demand forecast on a rolling basis, maintenance and review of the rolling demand plan in the planning system * Operate as business partner validating and supporting the forecast process. * Responsible and accountable for daily supply / demand balancing and availability of stock in the country * Responsible for the inventory management and control including safety and cycle stock * Responsible for working closely with commercial functions and the customer * Supply chain and logistics projects Profile * You will be extremely customer focused * Understanding of S&OP within an FMCG environment * You will need to have timely and good decision quality * Build constructive and effective relationships * Drive for results and continuous improvement * Good Communications skills both written and verbal * Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP & Excel) Our client will look at supply chain professionals with pure demand planning experience or somone looking to further their career and develop their demand planning skills.
