Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a Blue-Chip retailer to helps assist with the Accounts payable administration team–here you will be part of the corporate team across their retail estate. The role of the accountable payable team is to make sure all transactions are processed correctly and that all supplier payments are made promptly and efficiently. Other responsibilities include - * Ensure all transactions and processes within the purchase ledger are operating accurately and within timescales ensuring that all suppliers are paid accurately and on time * Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances * Making payment runs including * Reconcile statements, managing PO number & credit notes •Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries. •Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations. •Investigating and resolving queries relating to non payment of invoices. Requirements of the role - * Has experience within another accounts payable administrator position. This position would suit an individual who is driven by results and is target focused. * You will have good Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner and good systems knowledge. * Ability to work with pace and urgency. * Planning and organising skills Like minded people is a big tick in the box; in return you will have the opportunity to grow in a business that employs over 800 people and growing!
