A major food supplier of branded and own label product is looking for a Quality Coordinator for their team. This position has been created to support the business as it continues to grow, develop and invest in new facilities and technology. The role will be very diverse and give exposure to all functions within the business so it's a great opportunity for a food industry professional who's ambition is to progress towards technical management.
Key accountabilities include advancing quality systems and practices, managing quality and technical projects, managing quality testing programmes and working closely with the technical management to coordinate and follow up on visits and audits.
The ideal candidate will have quality assurance or technical experience within the food industry and a food or science related degree or equivalent would be preferred but is not essential. Good communication and people skills are essential along with a committed and motivated attitude and a passion for food and progression.
