The duties and responsibilities associated with this role centre around an overall accountability for the performance of the stores in your region. This translates into P&L awareness, assessment and development of store practices in order to maximise sales potential and a real focus on your colleagues and customers.
As a current or previous market leading Regional Manager, Area Manager or Operations Director who have the potential to lead and inspire large store teams. You should have blue-chip experience from a big box, out-of-town retailer whether a supermarket, mixed goods, DIY or electrical store with a turnover experience in the region of £150-200 million +.
You should be able to motivate, lead and inspire your team and also be aware of the need to advance your colleagues and set targets for individual & store performance. Not only this you must embrace the company's values, drive commerciality by impact & influence performance.
