Are you looking for a retail opportunity outside your local Retail high street? A leading commercial player on the Channel Islands is currently looking for a Deputy Store Manager to work within one of its branded Non-Food retail outlets in Jersey & Guernsey. This value fashion retailer is on the mainland and the island and is looking to bring a new competitive and dynamic edge. As a Deputy Store Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with: * Assisting in operating the daily operations and KPIs * Taking charge of the P&L for the store * Overseeing Visual Merchandising to provide a great shopping experience for your customers * Assisting the Store Manager in day-to-day duties * Providing a legal compliant and visually presentable store The ideal candidate will: * Experience of KPIs focus on measurable- around both financial and non financial targets * Have management experience within a volume Fashion Retail environment * Have previous experience of managing and leading a team - people management including training and development & succession planning and staff engagement * Manage and control stock levels * Must be self-motivated and driven and work well in an autonomous environment The role will involve relocating to the Channel Islands, representing a fantastic opportunity and lifestyle that you perhaps cannot obtain in the UK: * Lower tax rate and social security (on average an extra 2-4 per annum compared to the UK) * One of the sunniest places in the British Isles * Relaxing lifestyle * As VAT has not been levied in the Channel, luxury goods have often been cheaper than in the UK or in France In return for your hard work, the Deputy Store Manager will receive a full visa to work on the island, relocation costing, accommodation allowance (for the first 3 months), pension, private healthcare and staff discount.
