Are you a Department Manager, Deputy Store Manager looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to run your own store within the next 6-12 months? This leading supermarket retailer is currently looking for a Trainee Store Manager who is looking for a structured management programme to become a Store Manager. With nearly 800 stores nationwide this retailer has several opportunities for proactive Managers with lots of enthusiasm and commitment to join their team. These opportunities have arisen due to a number of new stores opening in the area that require succession planning of good talent in the business. This comprehensive training programme will include everything from store procedures, profit and loss, people management, store legalities and stock processes. You will manage your own development with your Training Manager and this will be adaptable depending on how quickly you pass the essential modules. To be successful you must have retail management experience whether it is at a Store, Deputy or Department management level, ideally gained from a fast-paced retail environment. Food retail experience is NOT essential. Your drive and passion and track record of success and progression is more important.
