Westfield Shepherds Bush partners with PayPal

News

Shopping centre Westfield London has partnered with PayPal to deliver mobile payments for shoppers in its car parking spaces for the first time.

Westfield say the technology will save customer time and money.

Bill Giouroukos, Westfield‘s director of operations, UK & Europe said: “We know that our customers love their smartphones and a high level of service, so it was a natural fit to partner with PayPal to allow convenient payment for parking with phones.”

Its car parking service joins the likes of Oasis, Karen Millen and Thomas Pink in accepting PayPal mobile payments at Westfield.

Rob Harper, director of retail and hospitality services at PayPal UK said: “Over 2,000 UK high street stores and restaurants already let you pay with PayPal‘s app, and we predict that by 2016 you‘ll be able to leave your wallet at home when you shop on the high street.”
