Haribo has confirmed the opening date for its new Bluewater shopping centre store.
The confectionary giant’s 11th retail site will open on 12 February at 10am, with its first 50 customers to be given free goodie bags upon visiting.
Shoppers will be joined by Haribo’s Goldbear mascot for its opening celebration, who will lead the official ribbon cutting of the store.
Other visitors, to be chosen at random, will win surprise free giveaways throughout the first week of its opening.
The store is set to feature exclusive merchandise, a feature pick ‘n’ mix station, and colourful, dedicated area of the store where customers can take selfies.

Haribo UK head of retail Rebecca Fox said: “We can’t wait to welcome smiling shoppers to our newest retail store next week.
“Bluewater is already special for Haribo UK after we hosted the UK’s largest ball pit at the shopping centre in 2023.”
She added: “Now that we have a permanent presence, we look forward to creating moments of happiness for our customers all-year round.”
Haribo announced it was opening its Bluewater site back in November, enabling shoppers “to experience the joy and delight of unleashing [their] inner child” upon entering.
It follows the success of the brand’s Hide N Seekers activation, which saw it open the UK’s largest ball pit, fully stocked with edible prizes and treats.
