Chloe Macintosh, Co-founder and Creative Direct of Made.com, has stepped down from the latter position at the furniture design company.

She founded the company in 2010 with entrepreneur Ning Li, Brent Hoberman (who co-founded Lastminute.com) and Julien Callede. According to The Drum, Macintosh will remain an investor and ambassador for the brand.

Commenting on her departure, Macintosh said: “Five years is a very long time in the vibrant tech/ start-up scene in London and as the business gets ready for the next step of its growth I feel the time is right for me to plan my next step.

“I am incredibly proud of what we‘ve achieved at Made.com – we‘ve shaken-up an industry when people said we couldn‘t and I still believe the sky is the limit for the brand.  I leave knowing there is a dedicated team there that shares and will deliver on this ambition.”

It is expected that a replacement for Macintosh will will be announced in the coming months.
