Selfridges has introduced a new sex and sleep wellbeing pop-up at its London department store in an effort to help customers through a curation of products and services.

The pop-up also offers acupuncture sessions by Pricc, hypnotherapy from House of Wellbeing and the exclusive launch of Maude, a modern sexual wellness start up.

Shoppers will be able to find new products from brands such as LBDO and The Oh Collective, which looks to change conversation around pleasure, and discover the latest sleep-tech.

Selfridges has also launched The Feel Good Bar as a permanent wellbeing destination at its London flagship after sales of wellbeing supplements, superfoods and ingestibles went up almost 125% since last year and almost 700% compared to pre-pandemic.

Visitors can explore more than 150 products in wellbeing innovation, ranging from gut health to hormones, hangover cures to sleep hacking.

The bar will also host residencies from brands rethinking drinking culture.

The Cinema at Selfridges will be open for sleep sessions, inviting customers to take power naps in “serene surroundings”.

In September, the retailer will launch By Dr Vali Wellness Centre, a medical wellness destination offering personalised ways to boost wellbeing, including bio-hacking, IV drips and hyperbaric oxygen therapies.

“The pandemic has placed wellbeing in the spotlight and accelerated the evolution of the wellbeing ecosystem,” Selfridges executive buying and merchandising director, Sebastian Manes said.

“People are reevaluating what feeling good actually means and embracing new ideas. We want to help our customers to live brighter by offering experiences and solutions in a way that is non-conventional and future-thinking.”
