// Marie Kondo launches online store to offer homeware products
// The decluttering consultant has caused a stir on social media over the offering

Marie Kondo has launched an online homeware store selling over 100 items ranging from £9 to £154.

The Japanese organising consultant and author who is well known for her tidying up methods, said the reason behind the launch of her eponymous label is to help consumers “make room for meaningful objects”.

The website describes the homeware products, which include robes, shoes, and storage containers – as a “collection of items that spark joy for Marie and enhance your everyday routine”.

However, the store has sparked confusion among consumers who have taken to Twitter to debate Kondo’s “ironic” offering.

Kondo told The Wall Street Journal that the store is “not about replacing the items you already have”.
