Amazon Prime customers in Birmingham will now be able to enjoy one hour deliveries as part of the e-commerce giant‘s roll out across the UK.
Today Amazon has launched the speedy one-hour delivery option the UK‘s second largest city and its surrounding areas, including Lichfield, Cannock and Tamworth.
Prime Now offers delivery on over 20,000 products such as coffee, batteries and games consoles, within 60 minutes for a £7 charge or free same-day delivery within a two-hour window of consumers‘ choice.
Christopher North, Managing Director of Amazon UK, said: “Customers in London already benefit from ultra-fast delivery with Prime Now and we are delighted to bring this innovative service to Birmingham and selected postcodes in surrounding areas only five weeks after our London launch.
“We are excited to continue delivering to customers in record-breaking time.”
Amazon Prime will expanding to other UK cities by the end of the year.
