Following the tragic attack that took place in Manchester earlier this week, fashion retailer Boohoo has pledged £100,000 to a victim’s fund.

The online retailer was founded in Manchester, and said in a twitter statement that its social channels would remain silent for 24 hours as a show of respect for those who had lost their lives in the attack.

A victim’s fund was set up by Manchester Evening News on Monday night which has already raised over £1 million.

The fashion retailer was founded in Manchester’s Northern Quarter 11 years ago.
