Hobbycraft is set to launch a new, first-of-its-kind crafting experience at its Crawley store.

The Custom Crafting is a customer experience will see the store roll out a crafting area on April 5, which aims to encourage customers to try out new products and techniques.

The arts and crafts retailer reported a rise in the personalisation trend after it began receiving over 10,000 “personalisation” searches each month.

The Custom Crafting’s main focus will be on digital cutting and includes an expansion of the Cricut Machines, tools and vinyl products.

“We are seeing an increasing demand from customers to want to ‘try out’ products and crafts and this new Custom Crafting area is the perfect space for them to do that,” Hobbycraft head of marketing Joel Pickering said.
