Lidl promotes two execs amid leadership reshuffle

// Lidl GB names Maciej Tylkowski as joint chief operating officer
// The grocer has also promoted Stephanie Rogers to replace Nan Gibson as chief human resources officer

Lidl has promoted two of its senior executives as part of a wider leadership reshuffle, including giving its Polish COO Maciej Tylkowski responsibility for the GB.

Tylkowski will become joint chief operating officer and will work closely with current COOs Matt Heslop and Tim Ulbrich, who oversee the sales and logistics teams.

Tylkowski, who has worked at the grocer for almost 23 years, will be responsible for Lidl GB’s supply chain.

Stephanie Rogers, the current director of employee lifecycle and experience, has also been promoted, replacing Nan Gibson as the grocer’s chief human resources officer.

Gibson has taken the role of senior vice president HR concepts at parent company Lidl Stiftung.

Lidl GB chief executive Ryan McDonnell said: “I’m delighted Maciej and Steph are joining our board of directors.

“In their new positions they both bring a wealth of experience and will be instrumental in further bolstering our growth.

“I’d also like to congratulate Nan on her new role. Nan has played an enormous part in our growth, fostering our talent and making us one of the best employers in the country.”
