Sosandar appoints interim chair on a permanent basis

Sosandar has named Nick Mustoe as its non-executive chairman, after he served in the role on an interim basis.

Mustoe took on the role of interim non-executive chairman in March this year, following the sudden death of the retailer’s previous chairman Bill Murray the previous month.

The chairman has previously worked with advertising agencies including Foote Cone and Belding and Lowe Howard Spink.

He founded his own agency, Mustoes Merriman Levy, in 1993 which he ran for 15 years.

The company merged with PR agency Geronimo to form Kindred in 2008, before Mustoe led an MBO of Kindred in 2010 and continues to lead the business as its chairman.

The non-executive chairman said:

“I am delighted to be appointed as permanent Chair of Sosandar. We are at a very exciting moment in our growth journey as we take Sosandar’s unique product to more people across the globe through multiple channels.”

Alongside the announcement, Sosandar revealed its independent non-executive director Jon Wragg was stepping down “in order to focus on other commitments”.
