Watch: Holland & Barrett unveils £4m wellness campaign

Holland & Barrett has launched a £4m wellness campaign “to encourage the nation to prioritise health and happiness” in 2024.

The campaign – ‘get your year off to a glowing start’ – seeks to put a new twist on the ‘new year, new you’ period, showcasing the retailer’s range of nutrition-packed food, vitamins and supplements.

It forms part of the retailer’s commitment to improving the nation’s overall wellness by signposting experts, nutritionists and an extensive food range.

Holland & Barrett said that 55% of people are more actively aware of their gut health compared to last year but that there is a gap in knowledge in how to proactively look after the digestive system.

It comes as M&S kicked off the new year with a tie-up with nutrition-science company Zoe to deliver a new Gut Shot which supports the growing demand for a healthier lifestyle.

The Holland & Barrett campaign is set to run across TV with 60- and 30-second clips, as well as social, digital and as part of a content partnership with The Guardian.

The retailer’s chief marketing officer Mark Singleton said: “H&B’s purpose is to make health and wellness a way of life for everyone, adding quality years to life.

“Our latest campaign aims to encourage consumers to prioritise health and happiness, and we showcase the small and simple changes that can be made to support overall wellness, from increasing immunity, improving mental performance and providing energy, at a time of year when many are seeking a little extra ‘glow’.

“At Holland & Barrett we have a wide range of health, beauty and food products, coupled with trained expertise to get everyone’s year off to a glowing start.”
