Aldi has extended its sponsorship of ParalympicsGB until 2032, meaning the tie-up will span a full decade.

The discounter will support athletes as they work towards the Milano-Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, as well as the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, the French Alps 2030 Paralympic Winter Games, and the Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games.

Aldi has been an official sponsor of ParalympicsGB since 2022, and it has supported Team GB since 2015.

Since then, the grocer, Team GB and ParalympicsGB have reached more than 3m young people via “Get Set to Eat Fresh”, a free, school-based education programme teaching children about affordable healthy eating.

Aldi UK marketing director Kyrsten Halley said: “We’re proud to extend our partnership with ParalympicsGB through to the Brisbane 2032 games. This decade-long commitment reflects our shared values of inclusivity, determination and community.

“Together, we aim to inspire the next generation through initiatives like Get Set to Eat Fresh while supporting ParalympicsGB athletes in achieving their goals on the world stage.”

In July, Aldi released a campaign to cheer on Team GB at the 2024 Paris Olympics, in collaboration with marketing agency McCann Manchester.

The advert showed Kevin – or Kévin La Carotte – racing around Paris in a Parisian-themed adventure so the games could begin.
