Quiz has reported an upbeat start to the festive season, with early demand for its new 250-piece partywear range pushing like-for-like sales up 6%.
The Scottish fashion brand said the late-October launch of its womenswear collection has triggered strong interest in longer-length midi and maxi dresses.
Meanwhile, footwear and accessories are also outperforming last year’s levels, with stiletto evening shoes and gold clutch bags leading the charge.
Early hotspots include Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and London, each showing strong appetite for occasionwear, with average basket values sitting at around £60.
Chief executive Sheraz Ramzan said the chain has seen a “significant” uplift in sales driven by demand for fashion-forward fabrics and seasonal colours across the new range.“Quiz is renowned for its accessible partywear, and the 2025 Party Collection has had a great response from Quiz consumers,” said Ramzan.
“We have experienced a significant sales rise driven by demand for items featuring fashion-forward mesh, satin and velvet styles in black, bottle green and brown colours.
“Notably on footwear and accessories, gold has overtaken silver as the metallic of choice, due largely to its ability to pair with the many brown, berry and green tones coming through on dresses.”
