Selfridges has teamed up with Disney to launch a new Christmas campaign.
The initiative, which runs until the end of December in-store and online, features interactive windows and in-store experiences across the department store’s London, Birmingham and Manchester sites, with exclusive items also available to purchase.
Selfridges’ Oxford Street store in London will showcase a Disney-inspired light and music show every evening throughout the festive season, featuring a facade displaying the Disney Castle, inspired by Disneyland Paris.
Additionally, 12 of the windows on Oxford Street have undergone a Disney transformation, inspired by stories such as Tinker Bell.
On Orchard Street, windows display reinterpreted Disney scenes from Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, through the eyes of two original concept artists.
Selfridges’ Birmingham and Manchester stores have had their windows inspired by Cinderella, Fantasia and Lady and the Tramp.
The campaign also features events such as live performances from singers and DJs, a chance to visit Santa, as well as screenings of Disney classics at the retailer’s cinema.
Selfridges has revealed a selection of Disney gifting under the initiative, while up to 80% of the products are exclusively available to purchase at the department store.
Selfridges group CEO André Maeder said: “We’re pushing the boundaries of retail with this once-in-a-lifetime collaboration.
“We’re beyond excited to share the magic with our customers and see the joy on their faces as they enjoy the light show on the façade, dive into the Disney windows and create memories at our spectacular experiences.”
Luxury department store Liberty recently unveiled its Christmas advertising campaign for this year, marking its 150th anniversary.
Fenwick also revealed its Christmas window for 2025 earlier this week, with a theme centred around “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens.
