Vestiaire Collective co-founder Fanny Moizant has revealed she will be stepping down from the company after 16 years.
Moizant co-founded the pre-loved clothing business in 2009 with its current fashion director Sophie Hersan.
Posting on LinkedIn, she said: “I am leaving the company as part of the recent organizational changes.
“This was not a decision I initiated, nor one I expected, but I accept that it marks the end of an extraordinary chapter.
“Since co-founding Vestiaire Collective in 2009, I’ve had the immense privilege of building a company with a soul, a purpose, and a powerful mission: changing the fashion industry from the inside — one second-hand item at a time.”
She added: “I don’t know exactly what comes next yet, but I move forward with energy, resilience, and fire in my belly.
“There’s more to build. More impact to create. Stay tuned, the next story begins soon.”
The move comes after Vestiaire Collective CEO Max Bittner departed from the retailer in October after seven years.
Bittner was succeeded by Bernard Osta, who formerly worked as the company’s finance and strategy chief.
