Morrisons director of convenience and wholesale Matt Heslop has stepped down from his role at the supermarket.
The exec joined Morrisons in March 2025, having previously worked for rival grocer Lidl for more than 20 years in various positions.
He most recently served as Lidl UK’s chief operating officer (COO) from January 2017 to March 2025.
Prior to this, he worked as COO for Lidl Ireland.
The news comes after Morrisons appointed former Nisa boss Peter Batt as its new operations director for convenience stores in September.
In August, the retailer also named Andy Gillies as its new logistics director.
Gillies previously worked as group logistics director for food manufacturer Greencore from 2022 to 2025, having formerly worked as its business unit director, direct to store from 2016 until 2022.
