Victorian Plumbing founder Mark Radcliffe is set to step down from his role as CEO, as the bathroom specialist unveils a change in leadership.
Radcliffe, who will stay on the board as a non-executive founder director, will be succeeded by the brand’s current group managing director Stephnie Judge on 1 April.
Judge joined Victorian Plumbing in 2013 and was named as the business’s group managing director in 2020 after several promotions.
Radcliffe is set to remain actively engaged with the business and its strategic direction, as he continues to work closely with Judge and the wider team.
The exec founded Victorian Plumbing in 2000, after identifying an “opportunity to disrupt the traditional bricks and mortar bathroom products market”.
Radcliffe said: “Victorian Plumbing has been on an amazing journey in the 25 years since I founded it and I feel that now is the right time to hand over the reins.
“Stephnie is the right person to guide Victorian Plumbing through the next phase of growth and take advantage of the significant opportunities that lie ahead.”
Victorian Plumbing Group chair Philip Bowcock added: “I am delighted that Stephnie has agreed to step up as chief executive of Victorian Plumbing.
“Her diligent approach to the delivery of the group’s strategic initiatives stands us in very good stead as we look to the next phase of growth.
“I have worked closely with Stephnie since becoming chair and I share Mark’s confidence in her excellent leadership credentials. I have no doubt that she is the right person to lead Victorian Plumbing through the next chapter and beyond.”
The appointment comes as Victorian Plumbing pulled in a 9% uplift in sales for the first 21 weeks of its financial year, boosted by order volume growth.
The brand also confirmed that it had snapped up Merseyside company Sovereign Transport Services at the end of January.
