Mattel, Barbie’s parent company, has teamed up with Rightmove to find Barbie her next Dreamhouse.
It will appear as a property listing on the platform over the summer. Fans were able to visit the Barbie DreamHouse Estate Agent pop-up in Covent Garden, London from July 24 to July 26.
As part of the experience, visitors will be able to explore the 2026 Dreamhouse.
This comes as research from the brand shows 75 per cent of Gen Z and Millennial women see homeownership as an “important life goal”, and 48 per cent of young women would contemplate buying with a friend.
It also highlights that 56 per cent reported that co-owning with a friend would boost overall happiness and 58 per cent stated it would help them to be more financially stable.
Kelly Philp, senior director of dolls marketing at Mattel EMEA said: “For over 65 years, Barbie has inspired generations of girls to imagine limitless possibilities for their future, and the DreamHouse has always been part of that story.
“Since the very first DreamHouse, Barbie has represented independence, creativity and the freedom to define success on your own terms. As today’s research shows young women continue to shape what homeownership looks like, and we’re proud to celebrate that journey alongside Rightmove.”
Colleen Babcock, Rightmove’s property expert, added: “Through our partnership with Barbie and her iconic new Dreamhouse, we’re celebrating the many different ways women are defining success, independence and their dream home today.
“Whether that’s a first home bought solo, with a partner or with a friend, what matters most is having a place that reflects your lifestyle and future ambitions.”
