Bodycare has revealed the locations of 17 stores it plans to reopen as it rebuilds its high street presence following its collapse last year.
The retailer, which shut all 147 stores after falling into administration in 2025, is preparing to return with a new-look store format and a refreshed proposition across beauty, fragrance and personal care.
Its website confirms that Sheffield’s The Moor will be the first site to reopen in July, with further stores marked as “coming soon” across the North, Midlands, Scotland and Wales.
The locations include Highcross in Leicester, Derbion in Derby, Merry Hill in Brierley Hill, The Broadway in Bradford, The Mall in Blackburn, St Johns in Leeds, Mill Gate in Bury, The Centre in Livingston and The Bridges in Sunderland.
Bodycare is also planning stores at Cwmbran Centre, Metrocentre in Gateshead, The Fort in Glasgow, Frasers Plus Luton, Golden Square in Warrington, Grosvenor Shopping in Northampton and Trinity Walk in Wakefield.
The retailer said it was aiming to open 15 stores within one year, adding that more locations were on the way.
The relaunch will see Bodycare move beyond its traditional value beauty model, with stores set to include K-beauty and fine fragrance ranges, free in-store content creator studios and professional piercing studios.
Its new “Live @ Bodycare” concept will give shoppers access to free creator spaces with lighting and kit for filming social media content in stores.
It marks the latest step in Bodycare’s revival after its brand and intellectual property were acquired out of administration in October 2025 by an investor group led by former The Body Shop chief executive Charles Denton.
Retail Gazette reported in April that Bodycare had initially secured leases for six stores as part of its return to bricks-and-mortar retail, with the first locations chosen because of their strong historic sales performance under previous ownership.
At the time, the retailer said its new Bodycare Studio format would include demonstration zones, feature screens, live broadcast studios and creator spaces as part of a wider digital-first strategy.
Bodycare managing director David Stern previously said the business had reworked both its store experience and digital presence since the acquisition and was preparing to welcome customers back.
