In-StoreNews

Morrisons Daily is extending its partnership with rapid grocery delivery platform Snappy Shopper, bringing hundreds of additional convenience stores across England and Wales onto the service.

The latest phase of the rollout will allow more shoppers to order Morrisons Daily’s full convenience range through the Snappy Shopper app, including everyday essentials, Morrisons Savers products, own-brand lines and multibuy promotions.

Customers placing orders worth more than £35 will also qualify for free delivery.

Orders will continue to be fulfilled by Nash, while JetGo will serve as the preferred last-mile delivery partner.

The expansion follows strong customer take-up across the Morrisons Daily estate, with orders placed through the partnership achieving an average value of £31.

Morrisons said the rollout formed part of its wider digital growth strategy and would strengthen the convenience fascia’s presence on the Snappy Shopper marketplace.

Through the adoption of Snappy Shopper’s technology, participating Morrisons Daily stores will also be able to fulfil orders placed through the Foodhub platform, giving customers additional ways to shop locally.

Snappy Shopper chief executive Mike Callachan said: “We’re delighted to continue expanding our partnership with Morrisons Daily as we roll out across hundreds of stores throughout its convenience estate.

“The expansion reflects the strong performance of the partnership to date and our shared ambition to make fast, reliable grocery delivery available to even more customers.

“By combining Morrisons Daily’s trusted convenience offering with Snappy Shopper’s technology, we’re helping retailers grow online while providing shoppers with greater choice and convenience.”

Morrisons group online director Charlotte Exell added: “We’re pleased to expand our Snappy Shopper partnership across our Morrisons Daily stores, making it even easier for customers to shop with us.

“This rollout gives households in England and Wales even more convenient ways to get fresh food and groceries from Morrisons delivered straight to their door.”

The rollout will continue over the coming weeks, with the next phase expected to be completed by August.
