The Very Group has launched an AI-powered pricing system across its retail brands, as part of a new three-year partnership with software company UiPath.

The multi-brand online retailer said the technology will help it make faster pricing decisions, improve stock management and give its teams more insight into pricing performance.

The Very Group said the project is part of its broader strategy to expand the use of AI across the business.

UiPath, which was selected following a competitive pitch, is set to provide an agentic AI pricing platform. The new deal will be designed to automate parts of the pricing process while supporting more transparent decision-making.

The company said the system will strengthen its existing data-led pricing strategy through tools including campaign simulations, scenario planning and AI-generated insights. It is also expected to reduce manual work, allowing employees to focus on more analytical tasks.

The Very Group chief customer and commercial officer Sam Wright, said: “We have a range of over 200,000 products and pricing is one of the most powerful levers in retail.

“The combination of our expertise and their data is helping Very stay ahead of shifting consumer demand and trends to make more informed decisions on pricing and merchandising.”

Catherine Frame, Director of Retail Solutions at UiPath, said: “Our partnership with The Very Group demonstrates how agentic AI can fundamentally reshape retail pricing.”
