Vans will give consumers a preview of its new ‘Vansza’ collection, as part of New York Fashion week activation.
According to the brand, the activation allows consumers to explore the sensory references, themes and visual storytelling associated with the Vans and SZA collaboration ahead of the full campaign debut.
Launching on October 22, the new collection is inspired by the American singer-songwriter’s “world” and is the first collection since SZA was named artist director.
SZA said: “This collection is really a reflection of how I live and what inspires me every day. I wanted to create pieces that feel comfortable, functional and expressive, whether you’re on a trail, in the city or discovering something new about yourself.
“Working with Vans gave me the freedom to explore ideas rooted in creativity, curiosity and play, and my hope is that people feel inspired to step outside their comfort zone, trust their instincts and have fun making something uniquely their own.”
The collection features styles such as the Vansza LX Tabi Hiker, the Vanza Knu Skool Mule and the Vanska Knu Skool, with colourways that were hand picked by the artist. Some items in the collection feature watercolour artwork from artist Sage Adams. Also featured in the collection are the Vansza Workwear Trompe L’Oeil fleece set, Vansza denim hunting jacket, multi-pocket denim trousers and Vansza outdoor oversized short.
